Invoicing (Taiwan)
Built-in electronic invoicing for sellers operating in Taiwan.
This feature is specific to sellers operating in Taiwan. Taiwan requires businesses with a tax registration to issue government-numbered electronic invoices, and the platform automates that end to end.
If you sell in Taiwan, switch to the Traditional Chinese version of this page — it has the provider list, where to find each credential, and how voiding and credit notes work. Those instructions are only useful with a Taiwanese business entity, so they aren't repeated here.
If you sell elsewhere
You don't need this page. Leave it switched off and orders work exactly as normal — payment is taken, access is granted, and the receipt your payment provider issues is what your customer gets.
Handle your own bookkeeping the way you normally would:
- Most payment providers (Stripe, PayPal) issue their own receipts and provide downloadable reports
- Your order records live under Course orders and Product orders, and can be exported
- Whether you must issue a formal invoice, and what it has to contain, depends entirely on where you and your customer are — check your local rules or ask your accountant
What the platform does either way
- Every order records what was paid, when, by whom, and through which method
- Refunds are recorded against the original order
- Order data can be exported for your accounting
FAQ
Will invoicing for my country be added? There are no other tax jurisdictions built in currently. The order data you'd need for any of them is already exportable.
Do my customers get anything after paying? Yes — an order confirmation email, and whatever receipt your payment provider sends.
