Affiliate Program

Let others promote your courses for a commission: rates, referral links, settlement and payouts.

Marketing → Affiliates. Let other people promote your courses or products in exchange for commission.

How it works

  1. Turn an existing member account into an affiliate and set their commission (percentage or fixed)
  2. Give them their referral link
  3. A customer clicks the link and browses your site — anything they buy within 30 days is credited to that affiliate
  4. Payment succeeds → a commission is recorded as pending
  5. The order is refunded → the commission is reversed automatically

Affiliates have to be members of your site first. Ask them to register, then come to this page and make them an affiliate.

Commission

Set per affiliate, not site-wide:

  • Percentage: calculated on the order value
  • Fixed amount: a set amount per sale

Settlement and payout

Commissions move through three states, deliberately in two stages:

State Meaning
Pending Just earned, still in the holding period
Payable After you click "Settle due commissions"
Paid After you've actually transferred the money and marked it

Commissions must be at least 7 days old before they can be settled. That holding period exists so refunds have time to happen — paying out first and getting a refund afterwards is painful to unwind.

The platform does not transfer money to affiliates for you. You pay them however you normally would, then come back and mark it as paid.

What affiliates see

Once signed in, affiliates get an Affiliate section in their own account area showing their link, clicks, conversions, and each commission with its status. You don't have to produce reports for them.

A note on tax

Commission payments are usually taxable income for the recipient, and depending on where you and they are based you may have withholding or reporting obligations.

The platform doesn't handle any of this. Keep a record of what you've paid each person over the year and check the rules that apply to you.

FAQ

A customer clicked two different affiliates' links — who gets it? Last click wins, with a 30-day tracking window.

Can affiliates promote everything? Yes. Referral links work at the site level, so anything the referred customer buys counts.

How is commission calculated when a coupon is used? On the amount actually paid, not the list price.

Can I limit who promotes my courses? That's already how it works — you designate affiliates one by one. There's no public sign-up.
