Expertise Pays vs Teachable

Teachable alternative: more in one subscription, none of your sales

Teachable is a mature platform and we are not here to tell you it is bad. But most creators on it are also paying separately for email, funnels and AI tools — and on some plans, handing over a slice of every sale. We put all of that in one subscription and take 0% of what you earn. Start the free trial, rebuild one course, and decide with real numbers instead of a comparison table.

So which one should you pick?

We are not going to pretend we suit everyone. See which side sounds more like you.

Pick Teachable if…

  • You are already established on Teachable and the migration cost outweighs the monthly saving.
  • You depend on specific third-party integrations or their affiliate marketplace.
  • You need a specific third-party integration that we do not have yet — ask us first, the list changes.

We are the better fit if…

  • You are paying for a course platform, an email tool and a funnel builder separately — here that is one subscription.
  • You are on a plan that takes a percentage of your sales. We never do; you keep all of it.
  • You sell physical goods alongside your courses.
  • You want sales revenue to land in your own payment account rather than being routed through the platform.
  • You would rather prove the value in a free trial than commit on a spec sheet.

FAQ

How much work is moving from Teachable?

There is no Teachable-specific integration, but the part that actually hurts is solved — mapping students to the courses they paid for. Two steps: (1) rebuild your courses and lessons in the admin (videos stay where they are — paste your YouTube, Vimeo or Bunny URLs into each lesson); (2) open each course's student page and paste the enrolment list for that course — one column of emails — and everyone gets access instantly. Missing accounts are created, existing ones are reused, and pasting twice never double-grants. Teachable and Kajabi export one list per course, so there is nothing to merge first. Finish by bulk-loading your old URLs into the 301 redirect tool so the rankings you earned carry over.

Do you take a percentage of my sales?

No. You connect your own payment gateway, so the money goes straight to your account. The only thing you pay us is the subscription.

How do the prices actually compare?

We deliberately do not print competitor prices — plans change and a stale number is misinformation. Do this instead: add up what you currently pay for your course platform, your email tool, your funnel builder and any AI writing tool, and put that number next to one subscription here. For most people the gap is not small. Then add whatever percentage of sales your current plan takes, because we take none of it.

Try it first, then decide about switching

Every feature free for 7 days, no long-term contract. Put your current bill next to ours — that is a better test than any comparison table. During migration, the 301 redirect tool keeps the rankings you already earned.
